Description
The Sleeping Giant , Kerry, – on Copper
Off the coast of Dingle, lies An Fear Marbh, or The Sleeping Giant, one of the Blasket Islands that when viewed from the East, looks like a giant sleeping on the bed of the wild Atlantic. The Sleeping Giant can be viewed from Slea Head Drive on the Dingle Peninsula and is a place renowned for its rugged landscape and literary heritage.
Each Sleeping Giant piece is made to order and therefore can have slight variations in appearance. No two are the same, making each piece of art as unique as the place it comes from.

I got my picture Sleeping Giant today and I am so happy. It is so beautiful and touches my heart deeply, I have tears in my eyes. We live in Hamburg (Germany) and spent our holiday in Ireland in July and visited the town of Dingle. I found Ken Bolger’s paintings in a shop there and fell in love immediately. Now I have a piece of Ireland and art at home, I’m overjoyed. Thank you Ken.
